Young, Lida (18 JUN 1884 – 8 FEB 1975)

Lida Young, 90, of Spring Street, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died early Saturday morning, February 8, 1975 at the Marshfield Convalescent Center, where she had resided for two years.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. at the Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, with burial in the Loyal Cemetery. The Rev. Eugene Carlson, pastor of United Methodist Church, Loyal, officiated.

Pallbearers were Charles Butterbrodt, Albert Degenhardt, Kenneth Schultz, Bernard Clouse, Gary Scheel, and Calvin Young.

The former Lida Clouse was born June 18, 1884 in Loyal, and received her education in Loyal area schools.

She was married to Frank Vogel August 1, 1901, at Loyal. They farmed in the Town of Loyal. He died in 1927.

On June 21, 1937 she married Charles Boldt, and they lived in Milwaukee. He died October 19, 1947. In September 1951 she married Bert Young and lived in the city of Loyal. He died in 1964.

She was a member of the Royal Neighbors.

Lida Young is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Frank (Gertrude) Degenhardt, Loyal, one son, James Vogel, Milwaukee, one step-son, Calvin Young, Marshfield, 4 step-daughters, Mrs. Edgar (Edith) Verhalen, Loyal, Mrs. Vernon (Hazel) Rogstad, Loyal, Mrs. William (Louella) Butterbrodt, Loyal, and Mrs. Norman (Norma) Kuehling, Unity, Wisconsin, two brothers, Ira Clouse, Amarillo, Texas, and Louie Clouse, Black River Falls Nursing Home, one sister, Mrs. Nellie Newell, Barberton, Ohio, 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
