Marty, Debra Jean (6 May 1957 – 30 June 2019)

Debra Jean (Steltenpohl) Marty, age 62, passed away on June 30, 2019.

Debra was the wife of David Marty. They celebrated their 44th year of marriage on June 28.

She was born on May 6, 1957 in Neillsville the daughter of Elmer and Betty (Whipple) Steltenpohl. She graduated from Neillsville High School in 1975.

Debby enjoyed being a full time homemaker, fishing, camping, gardening and playing computer games with family and friends. It gave Debby much pleasure to follow her friends and family including many nieces and nephews on Facebook throughout the years. In previous years Debby and Dave were active with the VFW.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband David; father Elmer Steltenpohl; siblings: Denis (Debra) Steltenpohl, Jerry (Diane) Steltenpohl, Judy (Greg) Pezzullo; and by David’s siblings: Darrell (Aloma) Marty, Donny Marty, Cheri (Jack) Downer, Sandy (Roy) Bieneck, Duane (Tammy) Marty, Lori (Marlo) Fritz and Don (Mary) Hillert.

Debby was preceded in death by her mother Betty Steltenpohl, sister-in-law Judy Hillert, her mother- and father-in-law Fred and Florence Marty.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, 1010 East Veterans Parkway, Marshfield, on Friday, July 5, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Mark Krueger officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be one hour before the time of service at the funeral home.
