Father Francis P. Rushman began his duties as pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby on Tuesday, June 17.

Fr. Rushman’s most recent assignment was as pastor of St. Mary’s in Wausau. Prior to his 13 months there, he served as pastor in several Wisconsin communities. He was ordained in 1952.

In addition to his pastoral duties, Fr. Rushman is a member of the priest’s senate for the diocese of La Crosse and served as a diocesan consultant.

Fr. Olson remains as the assistant pastor of St. Mary’s.
