The Abbotsford Board of Education settled on a financing plan Monday night to
purchase 20 Macintosh computers for the business education department.
The $46,028 computer hardware purchase will replace aging typewriters in the
department, plus just about double the number of computers in the high school.
Board member chose to finance the computer purchase with tax receipts, plus
monies from the Carl B. Thompson Trust Fund and federal business education grant
funds.
