Olson, Donna Lou (17 Oct. 1944 - 20 April 2006)

Donna L Olson, 61, Woodbridge,VA, formerly of Greenwood, died Thursday, April 20, 2006, in Virginia after a battle with cancer. A memorial service was held in Woodbridge, on April 29. A memorial service will be held at Immanuel United Church of Christ, Greenwood, on Saturday, May 20, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Mark Schwinn officiating.

Donna Lou Meinholdt was born on Oct. 17, 1944, in Chicago, IL, to Otto and Dorothea (nee Nindorf) Meinholdt. The family moved to Greenwood in 1946. She attended the Braun Settlement School, Greenwood Public Schools and graduated from Greenwood High School. She married Dennis Wilding on Nov. 30, 1963, they later divorced. She worked for Graebel Movers for more than 30 years in Wausau, Milwaukee, and Virginia, and was still in their employ at the time of her death. In 1986, she moved to Virginia. On March 18, 1989, she married Clark Olson.

Survivors include her husband, Clark; her children, Lynn (Allen) Janka, New Berlin, and Jeffrey Wilding, Merrill; stepsons Chad Olson, Milwaukee, and Chris Olson, Sturgeon Bay; grandchildren, Breanna and Tahra Heidel, Hartford, and Dalton Wilding, Merrill; her sisters, Myrna (Jerald) Richmond, Greenwood, and Marcia Gregorich, Greenwood; and nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and a brother-in-law.
