Guenther, Henry (7 JUN 1875 - 27 NOV 1914)

Henry Guenther died at his home in the town of Hull, Friday afternoon, Nov. 27th, 1914, of tubercular peritonitis, following an operation at St. Joseph’s Hospital, aged 39 years, 5 months and 20 days.

Deceased was born in Sheboygan, June 7th, 1875, where he grew to manhood; he was married March 21st, 1905, to Miss Anna Gau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Gau. He came to Colby in April 1913, with his wife’s parents, and settled on a farm in the town of Hull (Marathon Co.). He was an industrious, hardworking man and highly respected by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, four children, his mother and two brothers and two sisters.

The remains were taken to Sheboygan Monday, where the funeral was held Tuesday afternoon.
