A very pretty wedding took place at the Trinity Lutheran church at Loyal when Miss Ella Fravert, daughter of Fred Fravert, Greenwood, became the bride of Herman Schefas, , Granton, son of Mrs. Gust Kuester, Loyal. The ceremony was performed by Rev. H. F. Leschensky June 6, 1:30 p.m. The bride was attired in a ankle-length dress of white satin with lace jacket, a tulle veil with cap effect and carried a bouquet of white carnations. The bride’s sister, Miss Dorothy Fravert acted as Maid of Honor, wore a dress of robin-egg blue and carried a bouquet of pink carnations. The groom’s half-sister, Miss Lorna Kuester acted as bridesmaid, wore a dress of Ashes-Roses and also carried a bouquet of pink carnations; both girls wore head bands to match. The groom wore a dark navy blue suit. Mr. Herman Noeldner and Lester Keyan served the groom as best man, also wore dark suit. The house was decorated with white, pink and blue streamers. The church was decorated with assorted flowers. In the evening dinner was served at 6 o’clock at the bride’s home after which a free wedding dance was held at Merry Ol’ Gardens at Longwood.
