At a pretty ceremony solemnized Monday afternoon at 3:00 o’clock in the Trinity Lutheran Church of Loyal, Miss Mildred Bonas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bonas, Loyal, was given in marriage as the bride of Linton Jahr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jahr, Granton, by the bride’s father. Rev. H, F. Leschensky officiated.

A gown of white satin with a back lace yoke and pearl trim was chosen by the bride. Her long lace veil fell from a cap effect which was trimmed with calla lilies. She carried a bouquet of white orange blossoms.

Mrs. Franklin Steinberg, Chippewa, Wis., friend of the bride, served as the matron of honor. Miss Elaine Bonas, Loyal, sister of the bride and Miss Adeline Janke, Fredonia, cousin of the bride, acted as bridesmaids.

Mr. Victor Jahr, Neillsville, brother of the groom and Mr. Grant Wilcox, Granton, friend of the groom served as groomsmen. Little Hildegard Kuse, Medford, acted as flower girl, and the ring bearer being Elmer Janke, Fredonia. Both are cousins of the bride.

The matron of honor wore a gown of pink organdy and carried a bouquet of pink roses.

The bridesmaid, Miss Bonas wore a queen blue organdy gown and carried a bouquet of yellow and Miss Janke a green frock and carried a bouquet of red roses Both wore ribbon bands to match their gowns with white accessories.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. The house was decorated in colors, white rose, blue and green.

Those who attended the reception from away were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Janke and family Fredonia; Mr. Gustave Janke, Fredonia; Mrs. Robert Ulbrecht, Chicago; Mrs. John Helgersen, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Steinberg, Chippewa Falls; Mr. and Mrs. R. Balzweit, Medford; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hartienne and daughter Sylvia, Medford; Mr. and Mrs., Walter Kuse and daughter Hildegard, Medford; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Janke and Lucille, Fredonia; Miss Clara Reichard, Granton; Mrs. Lena Sterwald, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jahr, Granton.

The bride is a graduate of Loyal High School class of’30 and Central State Teachers college, Stevens Point in ’31 and has since been teaching in Clark County.

The groom was graduated from Granton High School in the class of ’27 and is now operating a farm near Neillsville, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Jahr left for a week’s wedding trip to Madison and to Chicago to visit the Century of Progress. The Tribune joins the many friends of the newly weds in extending Best Wishes for the future.
