Hake, Roland Walter (31 May 1927 - 14 Aug. 2005)

CURTISS -Roland Walter Hake, 78, Curtiss, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005, at Saint Joseph's Hospital Palliative Care Unit.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005, at Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford, Wis. Burial will be at a later date in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, North Green Grove. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.

Roland was born May 31, 1927, in the town of Green Grove, Clark County, to Walter and Helen (Kohnhorst) Hake. Roland and Elsie Neumann were married June 3, 1961, in Withee. He farmed in the town of Green Grove all his life. He also worked for General Telephone Company and was a heavy equipment operator for Francis Melvin Co. Roland is survived by his wife, Elsie Hake of Curtiss; his daughters, Ramona (Kevin) Back, Dover, Minn., and Donna (Brian) Schultz, Rice Lake; four grandchildren; and his sister, Marie (Carl) Schmitt, Marshfield.
