Recent graduates of Colby High School have achieved high marks at the University of Wisconsin, Marathon County campus in Wausau, and have been named to the first semester Dean's List.

They are: Anthony Tennis, route 1, Unity, and Doris Ballerstein, route 1, Colby. Tennis was honored for Straight A record.

They are among 100 UWMC students cites for academic achievement during the first term. Only students whose grade point averages are 3.25 or better are listed. The letter grade A equals 4.0.

The 100 is the highest dean's list total in the campus' 24 years history, and include 59 freshmen and 41 sophomores, 17 of whom have been named in every semester of their college work. Eighteen UWMC students were cited for perfect 4.0 averages.
