Dorothy V. Huth

Dorothy Huth, 72, died Sunday, June 25, 2006 at the Angelus Retirement Community in Neillsville, Wis.

Dorothy Victoria Huth was born June 11, 1934 in Willard, the daughter of Arthur and Anna (Salte) Noah. She atteded school in the Willard area. After her schooling she married Arnold "Bud" Huth on Oct. 24, 1953. She spent many of her years raising her family and working on their family farm. Dorothy and Bud loved to spend time at their camper on Rock Lake. She also enjoyed putting puzzles together and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sherwood.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Roger (Debbie) Huth, of Granton; Duane Huth, of Dorchester; Diane (Terry) Opelt of Granton; Arnie (Shannon) Huth, of Neillsville; Gail (Korry) Durham of Neillsville; and Dennis (Shawn) Huth of Granton. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and siblings, Ronnie Noah, James Noah, of Loyal; Allen (Brenda) Noah, of Greenwood, Mary Jane (Joe) Langhoff, of Spencer; Sandy (Gerald) Egstad of Granton; and Arthur Noah.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, JoAnn Huth; her parents and grandparents.

A funeral Service for Dorothy will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 29, at the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sherwood. Pastor Tom Hahn will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday June 28, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville and also from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday before the service at the church. Interment will be in the Sherwood Cemetery.

Honorary casket bearer will be Gene Huth. Serving as casket bearers will be Kenny Friemoth, Shane Huth, Luke Friemoth, Cody Friemoth, Al Hoover and Keith Durham.

The Gesche Funeral Home of Neillsville is assisting Dorothy's family with arrangements.
