Mr. Greely, of Loyal, was a visitor here Sunday.

Hi Hart of Neillsville was seen on our streets Sunday.

Jennie Rowe visited at Hein last week.

Mrs. Cynthia Young of Loyal, visited here parents here Sunday.

B. Lawrence, A. Gardner and F. Benedict went to Spokeville Sunday.

Mrs. S. A. Wilcox has purchased an improved Minnesota Chief thresher and will do threshing for farmers promptly. A. E. Garvin will be the manager.

The Epworth League gave an ice cream social Wednesday evening for the pastor’s benefit. $14 was realized.

Jack Young traded his pony for a bicycle last week.

W. W. Warner attended the Clark County Holiness Association at Loyal last Thursday.

Mrs. S. A. Lindsley went to Plover Thursday for a few days visit.

Chauncey Fowler and Forest King went to Christie Saturday.

George Nichols and Guy Winn had a collision while passing each other last Saturday evening. Guy came out best as he had a lumber wagon. George’s buggy was totally smashed.

Wm. Rowe, Tom Garvin and John Vandeburg went to Granton Monday.

DIED

John Christianson died at the Northrup residence in the Town of York, Wednesday, July 24th, 1895 of typhus fever. He was born in Norway, February 16, 1868; came to this country in 1883 and settled at Osseo. In 1888 he came to Clark County where he has since resided. He married Miss Julia Northrup in 1892.
