Berrett, Genevieve (7 MAY 1937)

A quiet but pretty wedding took place at Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.), Friday, May 7, 1937, at the home of Mrs. Elvira O’Hara, her son Paul was united in the Holy Bonds of Wedlock to Miss Genevieve Berrett, youngest daughter of Mrs. Myrtie Berrett of Beaver (Clark Co.). The Rev. Floyd Larson performed the ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Rollin Berrett, both and sister-in-law of the bride, were attendants Only near relatives witnessed the ceremony. The young couple left immediately for Minocqua where the groom will be overseer of cottages at a summer resort and the bride will work in an insurance and real estate office.

Those from here who attended the wedding were Mrs. Myrtie Berrett, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Brandt and son, and Mr. and Mrs. Verlin Berrett and family.

The Gleaner joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy married life.
