Gregorich, Mayme (19 JUN 1937)

At the Holy Family Church in Willard at 8:30 o’clock Saturday morning, June 19, 1937, Miss Mayme Gregorich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Gregorich, Willard, was united in marriage to Tony Kezele, son of Mrs. Anna Kezele, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), at a nuptial mass celebrated by Rev. John Trinko.

With her lace trimmed gown of white satin the bride wore a long tulle veil and a face veil, held in place by a cap effect head dress trimmed in seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies.

Miss Christine Gregorich, sister of the bride and her attendant, was attired in a floor length gown of pale blue taffeta and wore a shoulder corsage of white and pink tea roses. John F. Trunkel attended the groom as best man.

Covers were laid for 25 at the wedding dinner given after the service at the home of the bride’s parents. Mrs. Nick Knezovich, Hibbing, Minn., an aunt of the bride, was among the out of town guests.

The bride is a graduate of the local high school with the class of 1935.

A shower was given for the bride Tuesday evening and she was presented with many beautiful gifts. A wedding dance was held Wednesday night, June 23, at the Catholic Hall.

The young couple will reside on the groom’s farm near Greenwood.

The Gleaner joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy married life.
