David P. Federer

COLBY -- David Paul Federer, 61, of Colby, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006, at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, at Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford, Wis. Burial will be in Abbotsford Public Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

David was born Nov. 29, 1944, in Rhinelander to Lawrence and Ida (Lambert) Rock. He served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1965. He worked various jobs in the Wausau and Rhinelander areas until he became disabled in 1985. David and Eileen White were married Aug. 24, 1985.

David is survived by his wife, Eileen of Colby; a foster daughter, Melissa Ray; his brothers John (Avon) Rock, Dayton, Ore., Richard Waliett, Rhinelander, and Lawrence Rock; and a sister, Barbara Hanson of Harrisburg, Pa.
