PLATH - YOUMANS MARRIAGE

At the home of the officiating clergyman, Rev A. C. Stapel, on Tuesday at 3:30 P.M., Aug. 1, 1933, occurred the marriage of Miss Arlene, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Plath, Spencer, and Merton Youmans, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Youmans, Loyal, Wi.

The bride's dress was made of peach colored flat crepe with white picturesque hat and white accessories and she carried a bouquet of sweet peas and carnations. The groom wore a suit of navy blue.

Miss Eva Plath, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid. She wore a blue flat crepe dress with white picturesque hat and white accessories, carrying a bouquet of sweet peas and carnations.

Howard Youmans, brother of the groom acted as best man.

A reception was held at the home of the bride at 5:30, at which 100 guests were present. The decorations were in peach, white and blue with a huge bell in the center. A large wedding cake adorned the center of the table.

The happy young couple are spending the week at A Century of Progress in Chicago and southern Wisconsin.

After Aug. 10, 1933, the newly weds will be at to their friends on a farm six miles West of Spencer.

Out of town guests at the wedding were: Helen Plath, Fond du Lac, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Ed Humeyager, Withee, and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Molle of Unity. The record extends its best wishes for a happy and prosperous life.
