Awe, Elma (4 MAR 1931)

A quiet wedding took place Wednesday afternoon, at the office of Justice of the Peace E.E. Nielsen at Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), when Ray Harper, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Harper, was united in marriage to Miss Elma Awe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Awe of Bright (Clark Co.).

The witnesses were Edward Roller of this city and Miss Alvina Awe, sister of the bride. The bride was attired in a blue chiffon dress and her bridesmaid was dressed in tan chiffon, each carrying a corsage bouquet. Following the wedding a bounteous wedding dinner was served to twenty-five guests at the home of the bride’s parents. In the evening a wedding dance was given at the Beaver Town Hall, at which there were about a hundred and fifty present. Their friends wish for them a successful wedded life.
