Wilson, Henry (5 MAR 1873 - 19 OCT 1927)

Henry Wilson, second son of a family of eleven children of the late Mr. and Mrs. Orin Wilson, pioneer residents of Clark County, Wis., was born at Humbird on March 5, 1873, and passed away at his home in Ladysmith, October 19, 1927, aged 54 years, 7 months and 14 days.

The early years of the deceased were spent in this community, where he attended the Humbird schools, and formed a wide acquaintance. He was distinguished by a pleasing personality and happy disposition.

For many years he had been a resident of Ladysmith, where he was active in business circles. At the time of his death he was engaged in the real estate business, and was on the inception of a business trip to Minneapolis when the final summons came.

On January 11, 1911, he was married at Ladysmith to Sybella Roesler Willgrueb, a union that was blessed with many years of delightful home life.

Besides the bereaved wife and daughter, Mrs. Ethel Jarof of Minneapolis, Minn., Mr. Wilson is survived by four brothers, Asa, Chippewa Falls; Sylvester, Portland, Ore.; John, Stevens Point; Orin, Fond du Lac; and one sister, Mrs. Blanche Grush. Two brothers and three sisters have preceded him to the Eternal Home.

Services were held at Ladysmith on Friday afternoon of last week, and the remains were brought to Humbird last Saturday morning, and funeral services were held at the M.E. Church in the afternoon, Rev. E.F. Menger officiating. Burial was in Mentor Cemetery.
