Funk, Lillian (27 JUN 1928)

Mr. Amer Funk of Houghtonburg (Jackson Co., Wis.), and Miss Lillian Funk of Mondovi, were united in the holy bonds of wedlock at the home of the bride’s aunt, Miss Grace Farrington, in Mondovi, at high noon on Wednesday, June 27, 1928, Rev. Harold Gee officiating. The bride and groom were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Alton Funk of Stevens Point, brother and sister-in-law of the bride. Only near relatives of the young people were present at the wedding.

After a honeymoon trip to Kilbourn and other places, Mr. and Mrs. Funk will make their home in Chicago. The bride is an accomplished young lady, a graduate of Eau Claire Teachers College, and for the past two years has been a member of our high school faculty. The groom, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. R. Funk, grew to young manhood in this vicinity, but for the past few years has been employed at other places. The many friends of both these young people unite in wishing them happiness and prosperity on life’s journey.
