Jensen, Paul (26 SEP 1849 - 12 JAN 1935)

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday for Paul Jensen, 76 year old resident of the town of Hixon (Clark Co., Wis.), who died at six o’clock Saturday morning at his home. Death was caused by diabetes and old age complications.

The Rev. M. Mikkelsen officiated at the rites, which were conducted at 2 p.m. at the Danish Lutheran Church. Burial was made in the Danish Cemetery.

Mr. Jensen was born in Denmark, Sept. 26, 1849. He was married in Chicago to Holly (or Hally) Bratlie, who preceded him in death 12 years ago. For the past 31 years Mr. Jensen had resided at the farm home, with the exception of several years spent in the village of Withee (Clark Co.).

He is survived by the following children: William and Nickolas, Chicago; Harry, Toronto, Canada; Mrs. A. A. Hopkins (Myrtle), Withee; George, Loyal; and Mrs. Alfred Larson (Lillian), Seattle, Wash.

Mr. Jensen was a member of the Danish Church and of the Danish Brotherhood.
