Struck, Myrtle R. (20 DEC 1937)

Miss Myrtle R (middle name illegible) Struck, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Struck of Chili, Wis., became the bride of Donald Lindow, also of Chili, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Lindow of the state of Oregon, Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Chili Evangelical M-(?), Rev. Manley performed the double ring ceremony. The bride was very pretty in a dress of a beautiful shade of green flat crepe, with brown accessories. She carried a lovely bouquet of pink and white carnations and white pompoms. She was attended by her friend and schoolmate, Viola Prust who wore a dress of rust color flat crepe, and a shoulder bouquet of pink carnations.

The groom was attended by his brother Norman Lindow. After the ceremony a wedding supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents, to the wedding party and immediate families and a few close friends. The home decorations were pink, green, and rust. The table was decorated very beautiful and a wedding cake made by the bride’s mother adorned the center of the table. Waitresses were Miss Elaine Pietenpohl, Mrs. Aug. Mueller, and Miss Edna Prust. Mrs. John Prust helped prepare the delicious supper.

Both young people are well and favorably known in this vicinity, both having lived here all their life. The happy couple will make their home at Chili, Wis. Their numerous friends join in best wishes for their future happiness.

Dec. 30th was also the 24th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Struck, the bride’s parents.
