Jicinsky, Kenneth and Darlene (Rachu) (11 Aug 1956 - 11 Aug 2006)

Kenneth and Darlene (Rachu) Jicinsky of Spencer celebrated 50 years of marriage on Aug 11, 2006. The Rev. Charles Stoetzel blessed their marriage during the Maas on Aug 13, at Christ the King Parish in Spencer.

Ken was born March 21, 1932, to Ferdinand and Frances Jicinsky of Unity. After high school graduation, Ken served in the Army for two years. He worked for Spencer Milk Products for seven years and also at Hub City Foods for 34 years, retiring in 1995.

Darlene was born July 5, 1936 to Ervin and Evelyn Rachu of Unity. After graduation she worked at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory and at Land O’ Lakes of Spencer, retiring in 1996.

Ken and Darlene were married Aug 11, 1956 in Colby.

They have eight children, Allen (Gail) Jicinsky of Spencer, Deb (Jon) Zinsli of Verona, Darla (late Duane) Tyzinik of Spencer, Rhonda Jicinsky of Rhinelander, Terry Jicnisky of Las Vegas NV, Chris (Lisa) Jicinsky of Fairborn, OH, Sherry (Scott) Bridges of San Jose, CA, and Michelle (Tom) Johnson of Marshfield.

They have 13 grandchildren, Lisa and Brian Jicinsky; Beth, Matthew and Kelly Zinsli; Elisabeth (Chris) Vignali; Zachary (Crystal) Albrecht; Adam and Derek Vaughan; Jordan and Maci Tyznik; Nicholas and Maxwell Johnson. Ken and Darlene also have one great-grandchild, Olivia Vignali.

They enjoy working on their land in the woods, traveling, playing cards and attending their grandchildren’s activities.
