Miss Barbara Kohlnhofer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kohlnhofer of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.)and Joseph George DeMar, son of Mr. and Mrs. John DeMar of Chicago, Ill., exchanged vows at 9 o’clock Saturday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood. The rites were read by the Rev. J.J. Novak.

A red fox trimmed costume suit of olive green wool, with brown accessories and a corsage of gardenias, was sorn by the bride. She carried a white prayer book. Miss Magdalen Kohlnhofer, sister of the bride, attended as maid of honor in a brown afternoon dress with green and brown accessories, and a corsage of yellow tea roses. Mr. DeMar was attended by his brother, James DeMar.

About 35 relatives and friends were served at the dinner given at the bride’s parents after the ceremony.

Mrs. DeMar was graduated from the high school at Greenwood with the class of 1935, and her husband attended Purdue University. The former has been employed at Elkhorn for the past three years. The young couple will be at home after Oct. 10 at 1837 Patterson St., in Chicago, Ill., where Mr. DeMar is a bus operator.

Out of town guests who gathered at Greenwood for the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. John DeMar, James DeMar, Kaye DeMar, Mrs. M. Paffrath, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Saugman, all of Chicago; Mrs. N.M. Nelson, Madison; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Paasch, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ruuska, and Miss Kathryn Shober, all of Milwaukee; and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Shober of Spencer.
