Haunschild, Ferne E. (21 DEC 1940)

At 11 o’clock Saturday morning at the parsonage of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Miss Ferne E. Haunschild and Albert P. Neuenfeldt exchanged vows before the Rt. Rev. Msgr. H.P. Toeller. Miss Haunschild is the daughter of Louis Haunschild of Mondovi, and Mr. Neuenfeldt is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Neuenfeldt of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.)

The bride wore a powder blue rabbit’s hair wool dress with matching accessories and an orchid. Her sister, Miss Audri Haunschild of Washington, D.C., attended as maid of honor in a dusty rose wool crepe dress with matching hat and black suede accessories. Her corsage was fashioned of gardenias. James C. Neuenfeldt, brother of the groom, served as best man.

Following a wedding luncheon at the Coffee Cup for immediate relatives and friends, the newlyweds left for a short stay in Milwaukee. They will reside in Greenwood after Christmas.

Mr. Neuenfeldt is employed with the Greenwood Gleaner, and his wife has taught in Greenwood and Madison during the past several years.

Out of town guests attending the ceremony were the following: Louis Haunschild, Mondovi; Mr. and Mrs. L.C. Haunschild, Eau Claire; Miss Rosetta F. Hillier, Fox Lake; Miss Audri Haunschild, Washington, D.C.; Mr. and Mrs. William Neuenfeldt and sons, James and Harold, Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Neuenfeldt, and Miss Irene O’Connell, Greenwood.
