Schwarze, George & Frieda (39th - 26 DEC 1940)

Mr. and Mrs. George Schwarze of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), were honored at a surprise party given by relatives Thursday evening on the occasion of their 39th wedding anniversary.

George Schwarze and Miss Frieda Kuhlman were married Dec. 16, 1901, in Tony, Wis., and made their home on a farm near Greenwood after their marriage. About five years ago, they left the farm and moved into the city.

Four sons and one daughter were born to the couple, namely: Harvey, Owen; Ewald, Greenwood; Richard, New Castle, Wyo.; Orlin, Greenwood; Eleanor, Highland Park, Ill. They also have five grandchildren.

Among those who attended the celebration at the Schwarze home were Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Schwarze, Mr. and Mrs. Durward Schwarze, Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Schwarze and children, Mr. and Mrs. Orlin Schwarze, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schwarze, Mrs. Bethel Schwarze, and Mrs. Fred Brick and son, Alvin, all of Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Schwarze and daughter, Beatrice, Owen; and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Dusso, Longwood.
