Miss Viola Thompson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Thompson, Taft Township, former Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) residents, and Donald Boardman, son of Mr. and Mrs. M.P. Boardman, Thorp, exchanged wedding vows in the Norwegian Lutheran Church at Oconomowoc, Sept. 21, 1946, at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. P. Tanner reading the service.

Attendants were Miss Eulila Emberson, Greenwood, and Ben Wierniasz, Thorp.

The bride wore a pink dress and dark hat trimmed with pink feathers for her wedding.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Schroeder Hotel.

Mrs. Boardman was graduated from the Greenwood High School with the class of 1939 and served as a storekeeper, first class, with the SPARS. The couple will reside in Thorp where Mr. Boardman is employed.

Oct. 1, a wedding dance was held at the Mileaway Ballroom with Emil Kodl and his band providing the music.
