Butterbrodt, Dahlia (14 JUN 1947)

On Saturday, June 14, 1947, Miss Dahlia Butterbrodt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Butterbrodt, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), was united in marriage to Robert F. Susa, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Susa, Greenwood. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Raymond H. Bornbach at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen, Wis.

Mrs. John Gotz, cousin of the groom, was matron of honor. She wore frosted pink ninon and carried a colonial bouquet of pink roses and sweet peas. John Gotz was the groom’s only attendant.

The bride wore white satin with a marquisette skirt and train. Her finger-tip veil was caught to a crown of seed pearls, and she carried a shower bouquet of white roses, sweet peas, and lilies of the valley.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents for immediate relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Susa will make their home with the groom’s parents.
