Bayuk, Florence M. (22 SEP 1947)

A Nuptial Mass read this morning at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard (Clark Co., Wis.), united in marriage Miss Florence M. Bayuk, daughter of Mrs. Balbera Bayuk, Willard, and Alvin John Klinke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Klinke, Greenwood. The Rev. Father Ambrose was the celebrant.

Miss Bernice Burant, Stevens Point, was maid of honor, and William Bayuk, brother of the bride, served as best man. The bridal party also included Misses Lorraine and Lucille Klinke, sister of the groom, as bridesmaids; Frank Klinke, brother of the groom, and Edward Bayuk, brother of the bride, as groomsmen.

The bride, given in marriage by her brother, Joseph, was gowned in white satin fashioned with a corded yoke and long train. Her full length veil, edged with lace, was draped from a beaded headdress. She carried a bouquet of red roses.

The maid of honor was dressed in blue and the bridesmaid in yellow. Their taffeta gowns were styled with net overskirts. They carried bouquets of white asters and carnations and red roses.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s mother and this evening there will be a dance at Merry Ol’ Gardens.

The bride and groom are both graduates of the Greenwood High School and the bride is a graduate of the St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing. Mr. Klinke, a veteran of three years in the Marine Corps, is employed by the O. and N. Lumber Company, Greenwood.

After a honeymoon in northern Wisconsin, the couple will make their home at Greenwood.
