Robertson, John (19 NOV 1878 - 15 JUN 1937)

Funeral services for John Robertson, resident of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) for the past 21 years, will be held at the Griebenow-Weirich Funeral Parlors on Friday afternoon at two o’clock. Rev. P.F. Pfaffman will officiate at the services. Burial will be made in Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Robertson was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Robertson, both of whom have preceded him in death. He was born in Rock Co., New Brunswick, Canada, on Nov. 19, 1878, and passed away at the age of 59 years. On April 19, 1898, he was united in marriage to Clara Saas at Cadott. To this union were born four children, two boys, John and Edward, and two daughters, Verona and Delores, all of whom survive.

Mr. Robertson was educated in the schools at Boyd and for the past 21 years has served the Soo railroad as foreman of this section. He was secretary and treasurer of Local 1642 Brotherhood Maintenance of Waymen, and also was a member of the Joint Protective Board. He was well known to the railroad men of this area and will be greatly missed by them as well as by his many friends in this community.
