Miller, Anna I. (13 NOV 1898 - 13 AUG 1937)

Funeral services were held on Friday afternoon for Mrs. Martin Miller at the Danish Lutheran Church. Burial was made in the church cemetery, Rev. J.A. Holst officiating at the services.

Anna Ingefield Paulsen was born Nov. 13, 1898, at Looking Glass, Neb. Her folks moved to Askov, Minn., where she attended the public schools. After completing her four years of high school she attended and graduated from the Mankato State Teachers College, Mankato, Minn. She taught school for five years in Pine County, Minn.

Miss Paulsen and Martin Miller were united in marriage at Askov on Aug. 22, 1925. To this union were born three children, Carl, 3; Grace, 10; and Mildred, 8. Mr. and Mrs. Miller and family moved to Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) seven years ago.

Mrs. Miller was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital, Chippewa Falls, last Friday for treatment, where she passed away later in the day. She has long been suffering from an incurable disease, but at the same time has always served her family as a loving mother and wife.

Mrs. Miller leaves to mourn besides her family, her father, Carl Paulsen of Askov, Minn.; two sisters, Mrs. Chris Henricksen of Askov, Minn., Mrs. LeRoy Jorgensen of Chicago; two brothers, Einer Paulsen of West Branch, Ia., and Marco Paulsen of Sturgeon Lake, Minn. She was preceded in death by her mother several years ago.

The pallbearers were Carl Andreasen, Thorwald Ammentorp, Thorwald Carlsen, Emil H. Hansen, Albert Madsen and Emil A. Hansen.
