Kowaleski, Albertina (6 JAN 1860 - 19 SEP 1931)

Mrs. Albertina Kowaleski, aged 71 years, 8 months and 13 days, wife of Frank Kowaleski, of Powers Lake, Wis., died at her home there on Saturday, Sept. 19th, 1931, at 5:30 p.m. of heart disease which developed into pneumonia.

Deceased was born in Poland on Jan. 6th, 1860. Mr. and Mrs. Kowaleski came to this county forty-five years ago, locating near Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) in the town of Withee about twenty years ago. In 1926 they moved to Powers lake, Wis., which has since been their home.

Besides her husband she leaves to mourn, 2 brothers, Stanley Jarocki of Chicago, and John Jarocki of Thorp, one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Cutkowski of Goodrich, Wis., 4 sons, Edward, Joseph and Victor of Powers Lake, and Jack of Detroit, and one daughter, Antoinette of Powers Lake.

The body was brought to Thorp on Monday, funeral services being held at the St. Hedwig’s Church on Wednesday morning, Rev. F. A. Kulig officiating. The four sons and two grandsons, Henry and Harry Borysiewicz acted as pallbearers, interment being made in the Lublin Cemetery.
