Weaver, Edwin M. (January 24, 1948 - January 31, 2007)

Edwin M. Weaver, age 59, of Willard, WI, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at his home.

Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday February 5, 2007 at the Pine Grove Mennonite Church in Granton, WI. Bishop Clair Horst officiated with the assistance of Minister Paul Wesley Oberholtzer. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Delton Weaver, Loren Weaver, Levon Weaver, Duane Weaver, Lonnie Weaver, Mervin Nolt, Kenneth Shirk and Micah Hensley.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at the Stephen High residence (N6275 State Hwy 73) in Neillsville, WI from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday, February 4, 2007 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Edwin M. Weaver was born on January 24, 1948 in Ephrata, PA to Henry and Elsie (Martin) Weaver. He was raised and received his education in Lancaster County. Edwin was united in marriage to Nancy Martin on September 30, 1971 in Elkhart County, IN. He worked for Holiday Rambler in Wakarusa, IN, for 14 years in maintenance. They also lived in Thorp, WI where they farmed for 7 years before moving back to a farm in Willard, WI in 1999.

He was a member of the Pine Grove Mennonite Church in Granton, WI and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Edwin will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy, of Willard, WI; five sons: Delton (Rhonda) of Nappanee, IN; Loren of Willard; Levon of Neillsville, WI; Duane (Sylvia) of Willard, WI; Lonnie of Goshen, IN; three daughters: Darla (Mervin) Nolt of New Hampton, IA; Lorrie (Micah) Hensley of New Paris, IN; Danita (Kenneth) Shirk of Neillsville, WI; eight grand-children: Kevin, Derek, Jared and Nadine Weaver; Pamela and Sheila Nolt; Kayden and Keegan Shirk; his parents: Henry and Elsie Weaver of Farmersville, PA; three brothers: Irvin (Anna) Weaver of Penn Yan, NY; Lloyd (Alma) Weaver of Narvon, PA; John Henry (Esther) Weaver of Penn Yan, NY; and two sisters: Lois (Luke) Martin of Franklin County, PA; and Miriam (Ivan) Oberholtzer of Farmersville, PA.

Edwin’s family would like to thank all of their family and friends for their prayers, comfort and support during their time of loss.

Cuddie Funeral Home of Greenwood assisted the family with arrangements.
