Lueck, Lucille (Marriage - 2 Oct. 1941)

Lucille Lueck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erich Lueck of the Town of Weston, and Alfred Boon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Len Boon of the same township, were united in marriage on Thursday, October 2, 1941. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Nommenson at the Lutheran Parsonage in South Milwaukee.

They were attended by Miss Mildred Brown and Clayton Boon, cousin and brother of the groom.

The bride was attired in a street length dress of cadet blue with white rayon cord trim and a corsage of white carnations and chrysanthemums. Her attendants wore a dress of solider boy blue with gold buttons and a pink and white corsage of carnations, and chrysanthemums.

Mrs. Boon lived in her home community most of her life, assisting her parents with the work on the farm. For several years she went out to work during the winter months, returning to help her folks when she was most needed in the home. For the past six weeks she had been employed in So. Milwaukee. She is thorough and capable in the art of housekeeping, quiet and ladylike of manner a combination of fine womanly qualities which bespeak happiness in the home over which she will preside.

Mr. Boon has been employed during the summer months for some time past by the Morris Martin Construction Company, working at present on a contract at Darlington where the couple will be at home for a time.
