Lueddecke, Fred (1863? - 14 JUN 1929)

Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.) friends were much shocked Saturday morning when the news reached here that Fred Lueddecke of Athens (Marathon Co., Wis.), had dropped dead the previous afternoon in the bank at that city. He hadn’t been real well but was about, busy as usual, and no one expected anything serious as he was not yet an old man, being only 66 years old. He was married to Mary Sauter but they had no children; he had two and she had one by former marriage. He was buried Monday from the home and interment was made at the Athens Cemetery.

Those from here who went over for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Al Sauter, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sauter, Mr. and Mrs. August Sauter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sauter, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Kalepp and family, Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Lueddecke, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Schroeder and from away were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Lueddecke of Medford, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Sauter, Mr. and Mrs. Victor ??cotte of Phillips
