Blazel, Mary (17 SEP 1929)

The St. Louis Catholic Church was the scene for a very pretty wedding Tuesday at 9 a.m. when Miss Mary Blazel of the town of Holton (Marathon Co., Wis.), became the bride of Vincent Tieweski, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tieweski of Pittsville, Rev. Father Pitzenberger officiating.

The bride was tastily attired in a white satin gown trimmed with lace, wore a French lace trimmed veil and carried a shower bouquet of roses. Her maids, Charlotte and Olivia Decker, were gowned in pink and orchid taffeta and carried bouquets of roses and asters.

The groom was attended by his brother, Chester, and the bride’s brother, Alvin Blazel.

A wedding dinner was served to about one hundred guests at the Dorchester Opera House and a free wedding dance was given there in the evening.

Mrs. Tieweski is well known here (Dorchester, Clark Co., Wis.) and held in high esteem by her many friends. The groom, though a stranger, we are sure is a highly respected and well though of man in his own community and we add our congratulations to the many already extended.

Mr. and Mrs. Tieweski will enjoy a wedding trip to Duluth and will then be at home at 950 37th St., Milwaukee, about the first of October, at which place Mr. Tieweski is employed as mechanic for the International Harvester Co.

The out of town guests present were Wm. Blazel and family, Stanley; Mrs. Al Grosjean, sister of the bride, Mellen; Rudolph Blazel and family, Stetsonville, Roman Sewbert, Marshfield; Mrs. Drollenger, Auburndale; Mr. and Mrs. Tieweski and family, Pittsville; Mr. and Mrs. E.H. Wandrow, Pittsville; Mr. and Mrs. Kiser and Mr. and Mrs. P. Ellenbercker and family, all of Athens.
