Kleiman, Daisy (12 NOV 1931)

A very pretty wedding ceremony took place at the Lutheran Parsonage yesterday afternoon when Miss Daisy Kleiman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kleiman of Abbotsford, was united in marriage to Gilbert Laack, son of Mrs. G. Laack. Rev. J. Brandt performed the ceremony.

The bride was beautifully gowned in a white satin crpe creation. It was a formal dress with tight fitted bodice effect and a floor length semi-flair skirt. She wore a cap style, flowing veil set with rhinestones and carried a shower bouquet of mixed flowers. Slippers matched the gown.

Miss Alva Laack, who acted as bridesmaid, wore a pink taffeta gown with a full flair, floor length skirt, a yoke of crinoline and puff sleeves. A crinoline headband and black pumps completed her attire. Mrs. Chas. Gusse, who was matron of honor, wore a satin faced orchid crepe, severe model with two large orchid flowers at the fitted waist and semi-flair, floor length skirt. She wore an orchid headband and black pumps. Mr. Laack wore a brown suit and Mr. Gusse and Woodrow Foster of Abbotsford, wore dark blue suits. After the ceremony the wedding party drove to Wausau where wedding pictures were taken. In the evening a free wedding dance was held at the Hinke Hall.

Gilbert needs no introduction to our readers and Mrs. Laack is also well known around this country. We join the host of friends in wishing the happy couple man years of prosperity and joy in their journey through life together.

They will be at home to their many friends on the Laack farm, where Gilbert will continue to assist his mother in managing the farm home.
