Peter, Dolores K. (Marriage - 3 Jun. 1947)

Tuesday afternoon, June 3, at 2 o’clock, Miss Dolores K. Peter, of Unity, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Peter of Farmer, S.D., and William L. Schultz, Unity, exchanged wedding vows in the rectory of St. Mary’s Catholic Church at Colby. The Rev. N. B. Beschta performed the ceremony.

Red roses fashioned into a corsage, added a note of sharp contrast to the Bride’s white suit, with which she wore white accessories. Miss Cecelia Peter, Los Angeles, Calif., the bride’s sister, was attired in a powder blue suit with white accessories and a corsage of pink and white carnations.

Herman Schultz, Edgar, was his cousin’s best man.

After the ceremony, a buffet luncheon was served at the home of the groom’s father following a 4 o’clock reception. Decorations were carried out in a blue and white color scheme. Forty guests were invited to attend.

When Mr. and Mrs. Schultz return from a week’s honeymoon in northern Wisconsin and Michigan, they will live on a farm east of the village.

Mrs. Schultz, who was graduated from the Burbak Consolidated High School at Canova, S. Dak., with the class of 1944, was employed in Washington, D.C. for the past 18 months. Her husband was graduated from the Unity, Wis. High School in 1941.

The Register joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
