Schreiber, Adell (Marriage - 21 Jun. 1947)

On Saturday, June 21, Miss Adell Schreiber, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schreiber, became the bride of Mr. Donald Wisnosky, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wisnosky, Spencer. The scene of this beautiful wedding was at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Riplinger, Wisconsin, with the Rev. Quandt reading the Double ring ceremony.

Preceding the ceremony, Mr. Orville Rex sang, "O Perfect Love" and during the service, "Oh Promise Me," accompanied by Mrs. Henry Kuesel.

The bride who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of brocaded lace and marquisette, also a lace edged finger tip veil. She wore a double strand pearl necklace as a gift of the groom. Her bouquet consisted of red roses and calla lilies.

The bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. John Copet, Fond du Lac, as matron of honor, and the bridesmaids were Mrs. Ray Wisnosky, Riplinger, and Mrs. Russell Johnson, Wausau. The bride’s attendants wore pink, blue and yellow respectively, carrying bouquets of white carnations and red roses.

Best man was Mr. John Copet, Fond du Lac, and Mr. Ray Wisnosky, Riplinger, and Russell Johnson, Wausau, served as the groom’s attendants.

The bride’s mother wore a navy blue silk dress. The groom’s mother wore a flowered jersey silk dress. Both had corsages of mixed roses.

The bride attended the Unity, Wis. High School. The groom is a graduate of the Unity, Wis. High School, and also of the Wausau Business Institute.

A dinner was served for the immediate families at the home of the bride’s parents. A three-tiered wedding cake decorated the bride’s table. A dance honoring the couple was given at the Riplinger Hall.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wisnosky left on a wedding trip to Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The Register joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
