Fitzmaurice, Dorothy (Marriage - 19 Sept. 1936)

The wedding of Miss Dorothy Fitzmaurice, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Fitzmaurice, to Virgil H. Jinkerson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Jinkerson, took place at 4:30 last Saturday afternoon, at the Free Methodist Parsonage. The service was read by the Rev. A. E. Knaak. The bride wore a gown of pink pebble crepe and carried a bouquet of garden flowers. Her sister, Miss June Fitzmaurice, was bridesmaid, and Miss Vera Campbell was maid of honor. Clarence Jinkerson, brother of the groom, was best man, and Judson Phipps attendant.

Congratulations and rice were showered freely upon the newly weds, after which they returned to the home of the bride’s parents where a reception was held and a wedding dinner was served.
