Intermela, Angelia (20 Nov. 1852 - 28 Sept. 1936)

An illness of six months ended Sept. 28, in the death of Mrs. C. Intermela, aged 83, at Port Townsend, Wash., where she was a resident for the past fifty years. The deceased was born Angelia Colgrove on Nov. 20, 1852, and grew to young woman in this vicinity. She was united in marriage with Mr. Stiles about sixty years ago, and son thereafter moving to Washington. She lived in Quilicene vicinity, and there married Charles Intermela. Mr. Intermela was a prominent citizen of Port Townsend, serving for many years as city treasurer. His death occurred Oct. 31, 1933. Mrs. Intermela was buried beside his grave in Redman Cemetery. Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. Cora Ward of Quilicene, Mrs. Lela McDonald of Seattle, and three nephews, B. J. Colgrove of Spokane, John Colgrove of Spokane, and Arvilious Colgrove of Sacramento.

Mrs. Intermela was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in Port Townsend.
