Miller, Louis W. (14 Aug. 1880 - 2 Jul. 1949)

The Rev. August Quandt conducted funeral rites Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Riplinger, for Louis W. Miller, 68, Unity, who died at 7:30 a.m. July 2 at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, the result of a cerebral hemorrhage. He had been ill for six days. Burial took place in the church cemetery.

Mr. Miller, who was unmarried, was born in Manitowoc County, Aug. 14, 1880, and farmed all his life until his retirement about a year ago.

Three brothers, Henry of Riplinger, and George and William of Unity, and a sister, Mrs. Marie Helmke, Stratford, are his survivors. His parents were the William Millers.

Pallbearers were Bernard Neuman, Carl Domer, Joseph Hein, Martin VerKilen, Gerhardt Gosse and Emil Martin. Relatives came from Oshkosh, Manitowoc, Eau Claire and Stratford for the funeral.
