Bruss, Amelia (24 Feb. 1883 - 19 Aug. 1963)

Colby - Mrs. Albert W. Bruss, 80, died about 11:10 p.m. Friday at her home in Colby. She had been in poor health for some time.

Funeral services are tentatively set for Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church. Burial will be made in the North Spencer cemetery.

Friends may call at the Lulloff Funeral Home beginning Sunday.

The former Amelia Schwantes was born in Spencer Feb. 24, 1883, and was married to Albert Bruss on Nov. 6, 1902, at Spencer. The couple operated a cheese factory in the town of Hull until 1926 when they moved to the city of Colby.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Evelyn) Hahn, West Allis; Mrs. A. F. (Gladys) Beawer, Hamburg; Mrs. Fred (Bernice) Kresse, Milwaukee; and Mrs. G. G. (Anita) Bock, Allen Park, Mich.; a son, Elroy, Cedarburg; eight grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Greeler, Neillsville, Wis.
