Kaminski, John (6 DEC 1862 - 16 MAY 1934)

John Kaminski, 62, retired farmer, of the town of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), died at the hospital at Eau Claire last Wednesday, May 16th, 1934, succumbing to a major operation.

Deceased was born in Europe on Dec. 6, 1862. In 1894 he was united in marriage with Miss Mary Klipczyk, which union was blessed with two sons, John Kaminski of 1743 S. 58th St. , West Allis, Wis., and Peter Kaminski of 9615 Cardwell Ave., Cleveland, Ohio, and two daughters, Mrs. German Grundberg of 4702 Wellington Ave., Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Stephen Snyder of 3735 N. 17th St., Milwaukee, Wis. Mr. Kaminski and family came to America in 1901, locating in Cleveland, Ohio, until 1904 when they came to Thorp and settled in the township on a farm. Besides his wife and children, deceased leaves to mourn, one brother, Thomas Kaminski of 2887 E. 114th St., Cleveland, Ohio.

The funeral was held from St. Mary’s Church at Czestochowa, on Monday morning, Rev. Paul Slicz officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. The pallbearers were Thomas Przywara, Jacob Kula, Joseph Staron, Felix Staron, Mike Symbal and Anton Gutowski.
