Schneider, Martin (25 Jul. 1865 - 23 Jul. 1950)

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at the home and at 2 o’clock at the Methodist Church for Martin Schneider, 85, of the Town of Eau Pleine. Mr. Schneider passed away of old age complications at his home on Sunday, July 23. Rev. F. J. Smith officiated at the services with burial in the Unity cemetery.

Mr. Schneider was born in Brown County July 25, 1865, and was married to Clara Kroggel June 6, 1891. Mrs. Schneider passed away in 1938.

He came to his present home in 1876 from Brown County. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving children include Edward, Pewaukee; and Agnes, Gilbert and Theodore at home.

There is one grandchild. Two children and three half sisters preceded him in death.

Pallbearers were Harry Wescott, Glen Wescott, Byron Talcott, Albert Reckner, Charles Pasche and Joe McNeight.

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Domer sang "Does Jesus Care," "Heartaches," and "Beyond The Sunset," with Mrs. Tom Loughead accompanying on the piano.

Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Art Belanger, Athens; Mrs. Hilbert Juedes, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert ? fahl, Wausau; Joyce Christianson, Wisconsin Rapids; and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Schneider, Pewaukee.
