Hoffmann, Theresa (17 Apr. 1866 - Dec. 1931)

Funeral services of Mrs. Herman Hoffmann of Unity, whose death was chronicled in the Phonograph last week, were held at the St. Mary’s Catholic church Friday morning, Rev. H. Lachnit officiating, and internment took place in the Colby Catholic cemetery.

Mrs. Hoffmann, whose maiden name was Theresa Heimes, was born April 17, 1866, in Kewana county, Mich., and came to Clark county before her marriage, which took place Dec. 25th, 1889, in Colby.

Surviving, besides her husband, are eight children, 13 grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers. The children are: Mrs. Ida Smith, Steele, N.D.; Misses Theresa and Louise, Unity; Mrs. F. J. Neva, Kensol, N.D.; Mrs. Anna Oelrich, Nekoosa; Robert Hoffmann, Adrian, Mich.; Albert of Unity, and Alois of Hurley.

Sisters and brothers are: Mrs. Katherine Seifkes, Oakland, Calif.; Mrs. Mary Bendow, Colby; Mrs. Annie Steth, Portland, Ore.; Casper Heimes, Colby and Adam Heimes, of Longville, Wash.
