Schoolman, Esther Minnie (17 Sept. 1919 - 21 Oct. 1989)

Spencer - Esther Minnie Schoolman, 70, rural Spencer, died at 9:40 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer, with the Rev. William Ruhbusch officiating. Burial will be in West Spencer Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Rux Funeral Home, Spencer, after 4 p.m. today.

She was born Sept. 17, 1919, in Spencer, to Fredrich and Emma Oelrich. She attended Spencer schools.

She was married to Carl Schoolman Oct. 21, 1944, at Veefkind Lutheran Church, town of Sherman.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband; one son, James of Spencer; one daughter, Mrs. Dennis (Susan) Will of Colby; three brothers, Roy Oelrich of Rhinelander, Albert Oelrich of Spencer and Arthur Oelrich of rural Unity; four sisters, Mrs. Harry (Beatrice) Maeheichok of Rhinelander, Edna and Freida Oelrich, both of Spencer, and Alice Johnson of Montana; and one grandchild.

She was predeceased by her parents and one brother.
