Krohn, Virginia Helene (13 Dec. 1930 - 28 Apr. 2006)

Mesa, Ariz. - Virginia Helene Krohn, 75, of Mesa, Ariz., died Friday, April 28, 2006.

Burial and graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2006, at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Marshfield. The Rev. Don Meuret from Our Lady of Peace Church will deliver the celebration of her life.

Funeral servives were held at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2006, at Bunkers Community Funeral Home in Mesa. Deacon Ron Ruiz from Christ the King Church in Mesa celebrated the service.

Virginia Helene Krohn was born Dec. 13, 1930, in Unity to Fred and Sena (Hoops) Luepke. She received her education in Unity and Spencer schools. She was united in marriage to Alexander C. Krohn on Sept. 26, 1953. After their marriage, they lived outside of Marshfield. Virginia worked at Saint Joseph’s Hospital until they moved to Mesa in 1978.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Alexander; eight sons, Fred (Mary Jo) of Phoenix, Ariz., Jerome from Oregon, Bruce from Port Edwards, Jeffrey (Judy) from Marshfield, Steven, Thomas, Brian (Eunice) and Kevin (Jean), all from Mesa, Arizona; and one daughter, Rhonda (Tom) Lokken, from Greenwood; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jeanette Weister, Redondo Beach, Calif.

Her parents and her sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and Robert Zwicke, preceded her in death.
