Prange, Robert (14 Jan. 1889 - 26 Dec. 1933)

Robert Prange, a prominent farmer of the town of Hull, died suddenly at his farm home three miles south of Colby in the town of Colby at 4:30 Tuesday morning, a heart attack being the cause of his sudden departure. He retired Monday night, after taking part in the family gathering, seemingly in good health. Funeral services will be held at the Zion Lutheran church, Rev. O. Hoffmann officiating Friday afternoon at 2:00 P.M., and internment will take place in the Colby cemetery.

The deceased was born in Germany January 14th, 1889, and emigrated to the United States with his parents when eighteen years of age, coming directly to Colby. He was married May 26, 1920, to Miss Anna Fischer, of Colby and is survived by his wife, one son, Herman, his aged father, John Prange, who lived with him, by three sisters, Mrs. Frank Sill of Colby, Mrs. William Kowalk of the town of Colby and Mrs. Godfrey Baumgart of the town of Colby and by five brothers, August Prange of Milwaukee, Otto Prange of Racine, Max Prange of North Fond du Lac, William Prange of Colfax and Carl Prange of the town of Unity.
