Fechhelm, Helen J. (Marriage - 5 Mar. 1935)

Miss Helen J. Fechhelm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fechhelm of the town of Hull, and Philip Scheckleman of Greenwood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Scheckleman of Loyal, were married Tuesday morning at 9:00 o’clock at St. Mary’s church in Colby, Rev. L. J. Lang reading the marriage ceremony. The couple was attended by Miss Verna and Joseph Fechhelm.

The bride was attired in a beautiful gray swagger suit with a shoulder bouquet and hat and accessories in blue. The bridesmaid was dressed in blue and carried a bouquet of mixed flowers.

After the ceremony, a reception was held and a luncheon served to the immediate relatives of the families. The newlyweds will spend two weeks on a wedding trip at Beaver Dam, Milwaukee and other points in southern Wisconsin, and, on their return, will make their home on the groom’s farm at Greenwood.

Those present from out of town for the wedding were Mrs. George Scheckleman and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Scheckleman of Loyal and Miss Verna Fechhelm of Chicago.
