Johnson, Evah (Marriage - 25 Dec. 1886)

Canfield - Johnson - At the residence of the bride’s father, in the town of York, Dec. 25, 1886, by H. S. Chase, J. P., Mr. Judson C. Canfield to Miss Evah Johnson; both of the town of York.

‘Squire Chase thought this was to be a quiet wedding when he was asked a few days previous to officiate, but upon his arrival at the bride’s residence he found one hundred guests assembled, and a supper spread fit for a king. The festivities lasted well into the night, and the best wishes for the future prosperity of the young married couple were expressed as the guests took their departure.
